The FREEZE CONTROL CL3300 system is a computer- operated and user-programmable biofreezer. Perfect for routine or research applications, the 3300 system provides ultimate flexibility in the creation and execution of temperature protocols. This system requires an IBM- compatible computer to function; however, the computer system requirements are minimal. Older computers may be placed in service with this system.

The temperature control range for the CL3300 is +40°C to -86°C.

The CC23S Straw Cryochamber included in this system accommodates 23 x 0.5ml or 46 x 0.25ml straws. (A range of FREEZE CONTROL cryochambers is available to accommodate different applications. Please see the specifications under "Biofreezer System Options".)

The CL3300 system includes your choice of a 1.5 liter insulated and covered metal canister LN2 cryobath for freezing cycles of up to 90 minutes, a 3.8 liter cryobath for freezing cycles up to 3.5 hours, or a 2.3 liter DX2 EPS foam cryobath with PTEG clear lid, for freezing cycles up to 2 hours.
